CPC Logistics Canada a leader in transportation contract logistics services, has an opening for a Safety and Compliance Manager at an award-winning fleet based in Grimsby, ON.

Responsibilities include daily management of approximately 70 AZ drivers assigned to CPC’s customer.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Develop and administer safety programs
Review and update policies and procedures
Managing daily safety and compliance operations
Interview, qualify, train, and onboard AZ cross border drivers
Monitor driver performance and implement corrective actions
Driver Qualification file management
Schedule and conduct driver safety meetings
Accident investigation and file completion
Responsible for oversight of driver personnel
Some travel overnight and some weekends

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of three years in transportation management
Personnel management experience
Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and FMCSA Regulations
Thorough understanding of employment law and health and safety regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively
Excellent verbal and written skills
