Transportation Recruit/ Dispatcher | Mississauga, ON

CPC Logistics Canada, a leader in transportation contract logistics services, has an opening for a Transportation Recruiter/Dispatcher to be based in our Mississauga, ON office.

Responsibilities include daily administration of approximately 50-100 drivers assigned to CPC’s customers.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Track and Trace of drivers’ hours for scheduling, payroll, and HR functions
Interviewing, qualifying, and hiring commercial drivers and other personnel
Driver Qualification file management
Updating and maintaining personnel file
Administer company safety program
Schedule and participate in driver’s safety meetings
Accident investigation
Administer driver training
Primary contact for multiple customers
Duties require flexibility in work schedule as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of two years recruiting and dispatch experience within transportation
Personnel management experience
Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and FMCSA Regulations
Understanding of employment law and health and safety regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively
Self-Motivated and driven to work under tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written skills and good attention to detail
Attention to details and accurate data entry
