CPC is looking for a Sales manager in the Southern Ontario area with a history and drive for transportation and fleet solutions. We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager with experience in transportation solutions and sales. You will be responsible for managing a client book and continuously hunting and closing new business for a regional area. The ideal candidate has experience bringing on new business, meeting, and exceeding sales targets, and has a passion for building client relationships.

Job Description

The sales manager will be responsible for identifying fleets and companies across Canada that need qualified and trained drivers for their fleets and operations. The sales manager will work directly with the operations managers to take new accounts from onboarding to full execution.

This position will be responsible for growing the portfolio of customers at CPC Logistics Canada, as well as the number of drivers we have deployed with active customers. They will work directly with operations managers ensure operations are steady and changes/challenges are to customers to meet the collective objective.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop a roster of customers/contacts within our CRM that need qualified drivers.
  • Work closely with leadership and operations to ensure lead quality, quantity, and proper execution.
  • Update and maintain relationships with customers and key contacts to promote strong and growing relations.
  • Collaborate with internal regional manager and operations management group regarding leads, signed accounts, order fulfillment and account satisfaction.
  • Present services to prospective clients
  • Attend and connect with clients and potential clients at industry events.
  • Work with leadership and operations to remain engaged with operational changes, company directives and project development.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3 or more years in sales experience
  • Knowledge of prospecting, sales and negotiating principles
  • Previous experience in transportation and logistics operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Goal oriented individuals who are results driven
  • A candidate focused on sales growth and operational development to support sales
